Delete your account

You can ask us to delete your FiuFiu account at any time. Deletion is permanent.

What gets deleted

When your account is deleted, we remove the following account data from our servers:

• Your sign-in details (email address, and the name Apple or Google shared with us, if any).
• Your alarms, wake schedule, and answers from the initial setup.
• Your wake sessions and challenge history.
• Your photo-mission reference anchors.
• Your streak.
• Your community display name, proposals and their discussion threads, comments, votes and uploaded photos, including abandoned uploads.
• Your community reports and block relationships.
• Your subscription access and account preferences.
• The analytics events linked to your account, if you allowed analytics.

Morning mood check-ins and Apple Health sleep readings stay on your phone and are not uploaded to our servers.

Apple or Google keeps its own payment records. We keep purchase and refund records, transaction identifiers, Stop Alarm transaction history and subscription ownership records normally for 180 days from your deletion request to handle refunds, disputes and payment reconciliation, then delete them. If account deletion or deletion by a provider remains unresolved, we retain these financial records and the minimal deletion record beyond that period until the outstanding steps are resolved. There is no fixed maximum for this hold. Once those steps are resolved and the 180-day period has passed, our automated cleanup deletes the retained records. We never hold card details.

The in-app flow also clears local account data and cancels app alarms. A minimal deletion record prevents account data from being recreated.

Before you delete

Deleting your account does not cancel a FiuFiu Pro subscription. Cancel it first in the App Store or Google Play subscription settings on your phone, otherwise it will keep renewing.

How to delete your account

In the app

Open Settings and select Delete account. If the paywall is locked, open Account settings to reach deletion. Review what will be deleted, confirm your identity and confirm permanent deletion. Keep the app open until it confirms completion; reconnect and retry if it cannot finish.

By email

Send a request to privacy@fiufiuapp.com from the email address you use to sign in, so we can confirm it is you. Tell us:

• The email address of the account to delete.
• Optionally, the FiuFiu version from the app's Settings screen.

Open a pre-filled deletion request

We confirm receipt within two business days and complete the deletion within 30 days. You will receive a final email once it is done.
